I want to find broken or discontinued ceramic tiles for an art project. Any suggestions?
I want to cover a cheap flower vase with pieces of broken tiles in various colors and then grout between the pieces. What do tile stores do with damaged tiles?
I’ve done numerous mosaics. Most of the tiles I got were on sample boards- from a flooring store (that was closing). Also you can use broken dishes. Most paint/decorating stores have sample tiles on boards- ask if they have any discontinued samples they want to dispose of, timing is everything.. good luck & enjoy your project!
