i want to give this guy a handmade gift (he wants a handmade one) as a ‘farewell gift’. i’ve got this heart-shaped box but any idea how can i make something lovely and meaningful out of it?(:
not anything about love or friendship, but something to cheer him on in times of adversity when i won’t be by his side((:
and also how can i decorate it?(:

try and find some little books with meaningful sayings to put in there. i have one called “the Little Book of Calm” and there are others along the same line. maybe some photos perhaps of his family or even ones from when you were together depending on how he coped with the “once together” bit.

decorating – paint the box red with say a big black or white ribbon or bow on it. some nice Sandalwood balls or sticks or shavings to give it a pleasant aroma. you could even make the heart shape into a face.

i am assuming he is going away if not cut out the family photos.
