When you cook in the crock pot, do you put the meat it raw?
Like I’m cooking a “mexican chicken dish”, but the recipe doesn’t say whether or not to cook the chicken before I put it in the crock pot?
In most cases you can use the meat raw. For roasts, I often brown the meat but for chicken you should be fine. Enjoy!!
